Dear Paradise Hills Pony Baseball Families,
With the growing concern for the coronavirus threat, we as a league will be
complying with Pony Baseball and Softball’s recommendations that all league
activity be suspended until Monday, April 6, 2020. There will be no
practices or games held during this time. We will re-evaluate the
situation at that time based on information provided by our local and state
officials, as well as Pony Baseball and Softball.
We as a board are frustrated and saddened by having to delay our season. We
not only have to take into account just the safety of our players, but also our
volunteers, coaches, parents, grandparents, their families, and our
community. Many other leagues have already been asked and have suspended
activities as we work through the coronavirus pandemic.
We will be in contact with Pony Baseball and Softball and monitor the San
Diego Public Health office and the CDC recommendations for guidance on how best
to continue regular activity. Our goal is to resume our season as smooth
and quickly as possible. We thank you for your patience and support
during this time.
If you have any questions at all, please contact us through our league
email on our website and we will respond as quickly as we can.
Thank you,
Steve Wells
Paradise Hills Pony Baseball - President
