Paradise Hills Pony Baseball is open to all players age 4-14, who want to play baseball at a higher level than Little League. Starting at Mustang (age 9-10) we play by Major League Baseball rules. This includes: Leading off and stealing bases Pitchers holding runners, Pick off and Balks Hit and run, bunting with hit and run Dropped 3rd strikes This allows players to get ready for High School baseball. Paradise Hills Pony Baseball is also a great opportunity for Travel Baseball players because we allow them to play an entire season of baseball withMLB rules at an affordable price.

All players ages 4 to 14 are welcome regardless of past baseball experience.  Most of our players come from Southeast San Diego including Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, National City, Bonita, and Chula Vista; however we have open boundaries meaning any youth baseball player residing in San Diego county is eligible to play for Paradise Hills.

Paradise Hills Pony Baseball has two seasons. Spring season, which runs from February to May and fall season (Winter Ball), which runs from September to November. 

Paradise Hills Pony Baseball spring season will continues to focus on fundamentals however more emphasis will be placed on friendly, fair competition.  An official scorebook will be kept for Pinto division and above. Two games per week will be scheduled during the spring season.  At the end of the season, a simple playoff tournament may be held to determine division champions.  Spring is the traditional baseball season, resulting in higher participation then the fall.  The talent level is also generally higher because of returning players from travel ball and other fall sports. Teams typically play two games per week during the spring season. Players will be also eligible for All-Star teams which competes in the All-Star tournament in June.

Paradise Hills Pony Baseball fall season, also known as Winter Ball, focuses on improving fundamentals and general baseball skills, while still allowing for competitive play through weekly games. Our fall season provides an opportunity for players to transition into their new age group prior to playing the following year's spring season. It's also great option for players new to PONY baseball. The fall season provides a small, relaxed, fun atmosphere to learn new real baseball skills such as lead off, sealing and hit & runs. Over the 10 week season, games will be scheduled on Sundays between September and November.  At the end of the fall season, Paradise Hills typically sends one or more teams to a local tournament in November.

We play baseball at two fields, Penn Athletic Field (2555 Dusk Dr) and Munda Field (2020 Munda Rd).  At Munda Field, we are able to play under the lights during the fall season. Our mailing address is P.O. Box 390607, San Diego, CA 92149-0607.
